The Memphis Grizzlies come in off a nice 113-102 home win over the Clippers, but this is not a team that is playing all that well at the moment as they have lost 4 of their last 5 games. The Grizzlies are 40-30 overall and if the playoffs started today they would have the 5th seed in the West, but they are also just 15-19 on the road. Memphis is dealing with injury woes as Marc Gasol is out for the year, while Mike Conley is out at least four weeks and Zach Randolph is out for an undisclosed amount of time. They are three of the top 4 scorers on team. Leading the team now is Lance Stephenson, who has averaged 15.0 ppg in the 15 games since coming over from the Clippers. This is a team that is missing a lot of offense and it shows in the fact that they are ranked 25th in the league in scoring, putting up just 99.1 ppg, while also ranking 2nd in shooting overall and 29th in three point shooting, but they have been strong at the stripe where they are 7th. The defense has been really solid as they are 7th in points allowed at 100.5 ppg, while also ranking 17th in defensive FG% overall and 20th in 3-point defense. On the road the Grizzlies have averaged 95,7 ppg on 43.5% shooting, while allowing 99.4 ppg on 45.1% shooting.

Trends: The Grizzlies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record, but just 0-4 the last 4 games in the series. The Over is 13-3 in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400, while the Under is 20-8 in their last 28 vs. the Pacific division.

Even with all the injuries the Grizzlies have, they are still favored in this game and that is because the Suns are a bad team. Phoenix comes in having won 2 of their last 3 games, but the wins were vs Minnesota and the Lakers. Overall they are just 19-50 on the year, including 7-34 in their last 41 games, while at home they are just 12-22. The Suns are led by Brandon Knight, who averages 19.4 ppg and 5.1 apg. Devin Booker is next at 12.4 ppg, while T.J. Warren (11.0 ppg) and Mirza Teletovic round out the double digit scorers on the team. For the year the Suns come in ranked 22nd in the league in scoring, putting up just 100.2 ppg, while also ranking 29th in shooting overall,14th in three point shooting and 19th from the charity stripe. The defense is where the issues ariose for this team as they check in at 28th in points allowed at 107.7 ppg, while also ranking 27th in defensive FG% overall and 30th in 3-point defense. At home the Suns have averaged 103.3 ppg on 44.2% shooting, while allowing 106.1 ppg on 47.6% shooting.

Trends: The Suns are  4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Southwest and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Western Conference, but just 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games following a straight up win and 4-17 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS win The Over is 5-1 in Suns last 6 games following a straight up win, while the Under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in Phoenix.
