Jose Quintana takes to the mound for the White Sox with a 9-10 and a 3.38 ERA on the season. The south paw allowed one run and eight hits over seven innings to remain unbeaten in his last seven outings with a no-decision at Detroit on Sept. 22. Quintana has struggled in 17 career starts versus the Royals, however, going 1-6 with a 4.38 ERA – picking up the lone victory with seven scoreless frames at Kansas City on Sept. 5.



Kansas City sends out Edinson Volquez’s who has yielded three runs in six frames in last two consecutive outings. He is winless in last three starts following Friday’s 6-0 loss to Cleveland. The right hander pitched seven strong innings to get the win at home versus the White Sox on Aug. 7, improving to 2-2 with a 1.67 ERA in four starts against them this season.

29-15 66% FREE with these this year! College Football Returning Starter Angle Picks Week 5!

RETURNING STARTER ANGLE WEEK 5
Many years ago I received a newsletter from Mike Lee, a sports handicapper who just recently passed away in the past few years.   I’m not sure if he came up with this Returning starter angle or if he was just passing it along but it has really been a nice addition to my own personal handicapping arsenal.  He had said in his newsletter that the previous year the angle had hit above 70%.  I was skeptical but I started following the angle and the next two years it achieved the 70%+ mark again.  In recent years the angle has not been as strong but still profitable.
The Returning Starter angle is as follows:   Play On:  Any team returning five or more net starters against their opponent.  I use Marc Lawrence’s Playbook Yearbook for returning starter information.  Go down the list and compare each team’s returning starters.  An example from a few years back would be Nebraska vs Kansas State.  Nebraska has 17 starters returning for Head Coach Bo Pelini while Kansas State returns only 12 starters for Head Coach Bill Snyder.  That’s a difference a 5 returning starters in favor of Nebraska.  Nebraska won the game easily by a score of 48-13 on that Thursday night.
Let’s take a look at this week’s returning starter angle and see if it can produce us another winning week.  Keep in mind several other factors should go into your handicapping methods, so be sure to use this as an addition to your overall handicapping formula.  We’ll put returning starters in parenthesis.

Top Free Play of The Day Monday 9-28-15! Rocketman 75% last week in football!

Rocketman off a solid 5* NFL winner on the New England Patriots easily yesterday.  75% this past week with all my football picks as we won both days this weekend.  Passing here on Monday.  Check back Tuesday to see if I have any premium MLB but quite possibly taking the rest of the regular season off and concentrate on football until the MLB playoffs start.

Top Free NFL play Monday 9-21-15!

Off a losing weekend with my Rocketman Sports picks.  Always tell the good and the bad.  Clients either went 1-2-1 or 2-2 on Saturday and I lost my big play on UCLA and then we went 1-2 in the NFL on Sunday.  Will bounce back strong this week!  Still 63% in CFB and up a small amount in the NFL thanks to our bigger play cashing in Week One on Tennessee.  Passing on Monday.

This total seems a few points short. The Colt's offence looked terrible last week, but a lot of credit must go to the Bills secondary. Although solid, the Jets dont have the same talent so we expect Luck and the Colts to put up some points. On the other side, Fitzpatrick is no star, but has plenty of options now with Marshall and Decker both scoring TDs in their big win over the Browns. With the Colts poor on the defensive side, the Jets should be able to put up some points here too. Plus Fitzpatrick can be a turnover machine at times.
