Houston is 3-1 SU, but just 2-2 ATS in this series. Most recently the Mavericks would avoid the dreaded sweep by pulling away for a convincing 121-109 victory in Game 4, but with a shift in venue and with a chance to wrap this one up in front of the home town crowd, I expect the Rockets to be on top form Tuesday night and definitely feel they're worth a second look in this one. Obviously the last thing Houston can afford is to give the Mavs any hope, a loss today would have to be considered a monumental letdown, I simply can't foresee the Rockets not coming in completely focused this time around on both ends of the court. And note, this is in fact a position in which the Mavericks have struggled in for bettors all season long as they're just 19-23 in all road games, only 18-24 ATS after scoring 105 points or more and interestingly, a poor 20-28 ATS vs. poor defensive teams which allow 99-plus points per contest. Conversely, take note that this is a spot in which the Rockets have dominated in all year, 28-15 ATS overall in front of the home town crowd, 12-2 ATS after a loss by 10 points or more and a near-perfect 11-1 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite. So what do you think? Can the Mavs steal another one and force a Game 6, or does Houston lay the hammer down at home?

Every day I look at the NBA injury report. I start off with the first team and see who is listed on the report. These are the average number of points these teams will be without tonight.
HERE IS MY TABLE FOR CALCULATING INJURIES:
OUT: Take players average points per game and multiply by 1 DOUBTFUL: Take players average points per game and multiply by .75 QUESTIONABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .50 PROBABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .25
Here are the results for today’s NBA matchups for Tuesday 4-21-15!  Beside the team you will find the calculated Rocketman Injury Rating.  The Higher the Injury rating means the more points per game they will be without.

The San Antonio Spurs travel to the City of Angels for Game One of their Western Conference Playoff series against the home town Clippers. We note that two of the last three in this series have gone Over the posted total including the most recent back on February 19 played right here at Staples. Free Pick on Reds -
This is a great price to back the Reds at home with their ace Johnny Cueto on the mound. Cincinnati is a team that's been forgot about in the NL Central after an injury-plagued 2014 led to a 76-86 finish.
Cueto is one of the elite pitchers in the game today and he's owned the Pirates, going 18-5 with a 2.32 ERA and 1.020 WHIP over 28 starts (20-8 team record). Adding to this is the fact that Cincinnati won all 6 of Cueto's starts in 2014 against Pittsburgh.
On the flip side of this the Pirates will be sending out Francisco Liriano, who has not had much luck against the Reds. Liriano is 1-5 with a 3.82 ERA and 1.256 WHIP over 10 starts (2-8 team record). The Pirates lost all 3 of Liriano's road starts against the Reds with each loss coming by at least 3 runs.
It's also worth noting that Pittsburgh has gone just 10-21 against the money line in road day games over the last 2 seasons, while the Reds are 22-10 over the last 2 seasons in home day games. Take Cincinnati!
