Free Pick on Dodgers/Mets UNDER

With each of the last two games going over the total, including a 20-run outburst in yesterday's 13-7 Mets win, I believe we are seeing some great value here on the UNDER in Game 4 of this series. The Dodgers will be giving the ball to their ace Clayton Kershaw and the Mets will counter with talented youngster Steven Matz.

There's been plenty made about Kershaw's postseason struggles, but he pitched good enough to win Game 1 and I expect him to deliver a big time performance with the Dodgers facing elimination. Kershaw allowed 3 runs on just 4 hits in 6 2/3 innings with 11 strikeouts in Game 1 and now has a 1.61 ERA and 1.060 WHIP over 10 career starts against the Mets. 
 
Matz will be making his postseason debut and first start since 9/24. He went 4-0 with a 2.27 ERA in 6 starts during the regular season. While he only took the mound twice at home, he posted a sensational 1.98 ERA and 1.170 WHIP in 13 2/3 innings. It's also worth noting that Matz faced the Dodgers back on 7/5 and held LA to just 2 hits over 6 scoreless innings.
 

UNDER is 23-10 in the Dodgers last 33 road games against a team with a winning record, 12-4 in Kershaw's last 16 starts following a team loss and 8-2 in their last 10 after scoring 5 or more runs. UNDER is also 14-5 in the Mets last 19 playoff home games, 17-7-2 in their last 26 home games against a left-handed starter and 4-1 in their last 5 against a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.
